Absolutely! Our minimum order quantity is as low as 20 labels. Contact us for more information. 

• Each label is made in the USA using state of the art facilities.
• We only use 100% cotton for our labels.
• No cutting is required - they are ready to use.
• The included pen has been enthusiastically tested and not only writes smoothly but also doesn't fade after multiple washes. 
• Triangular labels are folded on the diagonal and included at the binding or facing stage. They will be firmly attached along the two side edges. 
• Rectangular labels have a small hem folded under and are them whip or straight stitched to the back of your quilt.  
• Once properly attached, labels can be machine washed along with your quilt.

We have tested our labels in domestic washing machines where they have been washed and dried more than 20 times. While there was a small amount of fading (as you might expect with any fabric) the labels remained firmly attached and still beautiful. 

The pens provided with our packs of 5 labels are permanent and machine washable after 24 hours. 

We use two different types of 100% cotton. 

For our rectangular labels we use a light twill with a weight of 5.8 oz/square yard, woven from 100% cotton with a flexible twill construction. Structured yet drapable and offering a soft hand and natural wrinkle resistance, this fabric is easy to hand sew and attach to your backing. 

For our square labels we use a woven quilting cotton with a weight of 4.3 oz/square yard. Smooth in the hand and easy to iron and sew. 

Both fabrics are digitally printed in the US using eco-friendly, water-based inks.

You may be wondering why we use different fabric weights for the different labels. Extensive testing showed that the backing fabric's pattern showed through a single layer of quilting cotton, with a bold design often obscuring the handwriting on the label. The square labels are folded in half and the double layer of fabric ensures that this is not a problem, but for the rectangular labels we were only using a single layer. We therefore decided to explore a slightly thicker fabric which was still easy to hand sew.

Email your completed spreadsheet to team@dontbemakerunknown.com along with the text you would like on the complimentary note card (max 200 characters) and we will send you an invoice for the total cost. This will include the cost of the labels, the $3 gift wrapping fee and the mailing price.

Shipping is based on the actual weight of your purchase and you are able to choose from two carriers within the US to ensure you have access to the best prices. We also ship internationally and you may have a choice between two carriers depending on your country. 

One pack of labels to a US Address is usually less than $4 with USPS. Once you have four packs of labels the UPS rate is cheaper and more economical.
